THIS IS A TENTATIVE SCHEDULE-SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER OR OTHER UNFORSEEN EVENTS.

Note: Rides and events are open to CTRA members only. However, CTRA is offering trial memberships for $15. With the trial membership, you can attend any ride or event and if you decide to join CTRA within 30 days, your $15 will be applied toward your membership. 

March 28, 2026

Blessing of the Mounts Ride at Hammonasset Beach State Park Trail Ride, Madison CT. Blessing at 11:00 am, Ride beach afterwards. Ride Hosts AVP Jim Clouse and Cathy Clouse, Coffee, donuts before ride and lunch after ride to be provided by Jim and Cathy! Park at West Beach Pavilion parking lot. This is the last weekend that horses are allowed on the beach until October

Michelle Butler will present an Intro to a Drumming Circle. Hosted by Laurie Grassette,(860-810-8834) from 12-1:30pm at the Harwinton Library, 80 Bentley Dr,
Harwinton, CT. Members only, but you can get a trial membership (see above), Cost
$15/person, $5 of that to go to the club.

Camp Opening-& Camp Clean up Camp Boardman, Goshen CT. Camp Director Cathy Ives.  This is the first Lot holding weekend. The water will not be turned on at camp yet because of the chance of still freezing water lines, so bring water. NO Horses!

Memorial Day Weekend Camp Boardman. Goshen, CT Saturday Chili Cook Off with Tacos and toppings 6pm., host Deb Somers. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP WITH SET UP FOR CHILI COOKOFF Bring you favorite chili!!! Sale of glasses fundraiser to benefit year end awards. Corn Hole fun tournament afterwards!

 

Sunday – Breakfast 8am to 10am. This is a full breakfast including pancakes, eggs, bacon sausage etc. Breakfast is hosted by Cher, Stacy & Peggy.

Members only. Pot luck Saturday night. Hosts Ruth Strontzer and Members Liz Kennedy and Nancy Palermo-Lee. There will be a Solstice Ride, Poker Ride and Scavenger Hunt.

4th of July holiday week at CTRA Camp Boardman, Goshen, CT Pot Luck Dinner Sat night 4:30pm – coordinator Sue Tracy, fundraiser afterwards with host Stacy Dionne – Music Bingo all proceeds go to camp improvement. $25/card (multiple games, 10 prizes) 7pm – 9pm. Breakfast Sunday. Volunteers needed. Ride on Sunday from Ranger station at 11:00am Stacy and Peggy to host ride. **This is a lot holding weekend**

Annual CTRA Auction and BBQ- CTRA Camp Boardman, Goshen, CT BBQ and Auction Saturday Aug 8. **This is a lot holding weekend. Fundraiser by Debbie O’Donnell - $50/50 raffle tickets. BBQ – Deb O’Donnell - organizer followed by auction. Chris Mard and Sue Tracy to organize auction. Need volunteers to help at auction/BBQ. Sunday Breakfast – Host Deb Somers and Chris Mard
