All rides MOUNT-UP time start at 10:30 AM unless otherwise noted.
Please call the ride or event host for additional information and directions.
Event postings with additional info for many of the rides will be on our Facebook Group.
THIS IS A TENTATIVE SCHEDULE-SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER OR OTHER UNFORESEEN EVENTS.
Note: Rides and events are open to CTRA members only
However, CTRA is offering trial memberships for $15. With the trail membership, you can attend any ride or event and if you decide to join CTRA within 30 days, your $15 will be applied toward your membership.

General Membership Meeting

The open General Membership Meeting will be "called to order" following a Potluck lunch at 1:30 pm. All members and guests are welcome to attend. This is the time when the members can express an questions and comments they may have regarding the upcoming season.
A preliminary trail ride and Camp Boardman events schedule for 2025 will be worked on. Please consider bringing at least two dates when you may be able to host a ride. This will help in facilitating the schedule.

Blessing of the Mounts ride
Location: Hammonasset Beach State Park
Madison, CT
Ride Host is AVP Jim Clouse and Cathy Clouse
Coffee and donuts before ride. Lunch after ride to be provided by Jim & Cathy. Park at the west side beach pavillion parking lot. This is the last weekend of the season that horses are allowed on the beach until October.

Camp Boardman Opening
This is the opening of Camp Boardman. All lot holders are welcomed to bring their RV's to their lot for the start of the season. Camp supplied water lines will not be available at this time​

Camp Boardman Opening & Clean-up
Location: 81 Eli Bunker Road
Goshen, CT

Camp Director Jay Cassella will head up the clean-up. Saturday night will be a pizza dinner for all volunteers. This is the first "Lot Holding Weekend". The water at camp will NOT be turned on due to the risk of freezing overnight, so please remember to bring water with you. HORSES are NOT invited for this weekend.​​​

Volunteers needed for the annual clean-up at the Park. CTRA members will be there to assist from 9:30am to 12:30/1:00pm.

Saturday Night Chili Cook-Off. Bring your best Chili. Prizes awarded. The Camp will be serving Hotdogs and Hamburgers to compliment the Chili. Sunday breakfast will be offered. This is a "Lot Holding Weekend". Volunteers needed to set up for cook-off and for Sunday breakfast.
